WOW! INCREDIBLE! HEARTWARMING! MAGNIFICENT!
Today's
A big thank you to the Lincoln Hills Lions Club which brought in around one-hundred toys. Bob and Sue Olin and Karl Wentzler deserve a big round of applause for their efforts. We got toys from car clubs, pickleball, and the communities of
Thank you to everyone who contributed, who helped with today's collection and a special thanks to John Moran and Dennis Benedict for helping transport the toys to Beale AFB today.
It is always gratifying and reassuring to see the personal thoughtfulness and generosity of our friends and neighbors, especially in a time of special need. I hope everyone who helped make today a huge success will feel a little bit better. A child in need will be remembered because of your charitable giving.
When the toys were delivered to Beale today, we overwhelmed the people there to receive them. They had to gather three enlisted men to help unload our over-stuffed vehicles and fill their wrapping room. Collectively they said thank you and WOW for this large expression of giving.
The final totals: Over 500 toys, games, dolls, sporting goods, etc. were collected. $1,465 in CASH and checks was collected. This enough to buy another 150 toys.
WAY TO GO!!! CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR MAKING TODAY A HUGE SUCCESS.
