Softball General Meeting Minutes

Tuesday, 6/2/09, O.C.L.

Meeting called to order at 3:00 by President John Bush. All board members present as well as 28 members. Waiving of reading of last minutes was approved.

John informed the members that the current board would be concluding its term in September and that there are 3 positions opening. Elections would be held during the August meeting.

Bruce reported that we showed a balance of approx. $5,000 in our account.

Dar brought up to date the wellness situation. John Baldi was still in hospital, and was not allowed visitors.

Marty let all know that the banquet scheduled for 9/23/09 would probably run each member and guest that attends $15, same as last year. He also informed them that the band, Lincoln Highway would entertain for two hours during dinner.

Stan said that the field would be tilled during the July break.

Montie covered the 4^th of July games as well as the All Star games. Selections of All Stars would be made by the teams themselves. The 4^th of July games would start at 10, 11:30 concluding with the 1:00 game with the city of Lincoln. The two All Star games that would be played on July 3^rd would be coached by Steve Russo (Nationals) and John Bush (American).
