Old
Business
4. New Business
- Recycle days: several days throughout the season will
be planned for recycling bottles, cans, and print cartridges.
· Chris Berney read an email from Sal Algeri
regarding “the primary goal of the recreational league…to have a fun experience
and try to build skills…like managers to play each team member about the same
number of innings…consider setting up guidelines…competition players do not
play all 7 innings while the non-competition players sit on the bench for 4-5
innings…”
5. Open Forum
- Question regarding the last Wednesday of
the month that can be used for make-up games.
- Statement regarding portable batting
cage.
- Statement that heat gauge should be
placed outside of the shaded areas.
Larry McMaster stated that criteria have been set up for placement
of the gauge.
- Question regarding size of home
plate. The commissioner has measured
it, and it is the size recommended by ASA.
Senior SB USA has recommended a larger plate size. Our league will stay with the ASA
recommendation.
- Question regarding batting box and home
plate. Maintenance will address the
issues.
- Statement that you cannot read the
weights on the bats. Stan’s crew
will remark bats.
