Instructional League 2007

Purpose: To
provide supervised training and instruction for Lincoln Hills Senior Softball
League (LHSSL) members who are interested in discovering or renewing their
interest in softball; or who just plain want to have a softball workout.
The primary focus is directed toward new or
inexperienced players who may have been away from softball for years or never
played at all. The training is at a pace
that will accommodate players at any skill level, including league members who
would like to come out and work on a specific part of their game.
Each workout will have some basic demonstrations and
drills with “live” hitting practice, throwing, fielding, and running
bases. We also cover rules and regulations. Participants can take part at a pace suitable
to their interests and capabilities.
When: Every
Thursday from 2 PM – 4 PM at Del Webb Field during the Summer League Season
(dates to be announced).
Requirements:
LHSSL application, insurance and medical forms completed and returned to
League officials with a check for $50.00 (full membership), or $25.00 for
Instructional League only.
Full membership entitles you to league play in both summer and winter leagues during 2007, the
Instructional League, and various other league activities. Forms may be found at Del Webb field or
downloaded from this web page lhssl.org.
Equipment:
Bring your own glove and appropriate softball shoes.
Bats and balls are provided.
