Eagles 65 Senior Softball teams will have their tryouts on Friday
January 28 at 10:00 AM at Del Webb Field. Friday February 4 will
be used to complete this process.
Sun Eagles
have two (2) categories of teams for the 2005 Senior Softball season.
(1)
Friday player’s team meets each Friday at 10:00 am at Del Webb Field
for practice or playing games. This team is designed for players
who don’t want to travel or play tournaments but still would like
competitive softball. This group will play one or two games against
visiting teams per month at Del Webb Field. Friday teams could
accept an invitation to play at another field if voted on by the team
players.

Sun Eagles tournament team will accept invitations to play tournaments
once a month during the season in Northern California. Most
tournaments would be close enough that an overnight stay would not be
required.
Travel outside
Northern California will be to the National Qualifier in Reno, Nevada
May 31 to June 2, 2005, and either to the Huntsman Games in St. George,
Utah on October 3-7 or the World Championships in Phoenix on October
17-20. Travel team players will determine what events they wish
to enter.
Eligibility

You must be a resident of Sun City Lincoln Hills
(2)
You must be a member of the Lincoln Hills Senior Softball League
(3)
Be at least 65 years of age or turn 65 during the calendar year of 2005
(4)
Be competitive, desire to win games and tournaments and enjoy playing
softball with your neighbors.
