Announcements/Notices The Lincoln Hills Coyotes 65s won four out of five games to win the annual Coyote Invitational Tournament on June 27-28 at Del Webb Field featuring teams from Greater Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area. The Coyotes won with excellent pitching, solid defense and timely hitting. They were led by Jim Mikaelson’s two home runs and solid hitting from Pete Savoia (.786), Rich Daniels (.750) and Barry Cunningham (.733). Mike Bunyard threw two runners out at home from left center field in the championship game highlighting the team’s defensive play throughout the tournament. The Coyote 65s next tournament is July 18th and 19th in Penn Valley. Coyote 55's at Penn Valley June 13-14 ( The Coyote 55's ended up in 3rd place on a run differential after finishing with a 3 way tie for 1st place with a record of 4 and 1. They were in a tough division bracket of Major and AAA teams, averaging about 16 runs a game. They had great hitting from Ed Lazarek and Mike Hilton.
